Compared to other similar apps, this one no longer competes with the ability to create more professional looking work

I wanted to digitally color a favorite coloring book that I use as a story book! My kids love it!

This is a straightforward app with a ton of little features. I find myself going back to it again and again. I bought the lifetime just to remove the ads and it was worth it. Not sure why this isn’t the most famous doodle app in here! Great job, easy to use, surprisingly powerful. Happy customer, 5 stars.

I love the app but I PAID THREE TIMES over the years and I still get ads!

Its a good app but i keep havinng issues with thhe fill tool and its EXTREMELY annoying

This was an incredible, AND EXTREMELY RELIABLE APP that I used nearly every single day for creating detailed pngs for videos, art etc… suddenly, without warning and within a few hours, my PNGs have colored backgrounds instead of transparency AND just to make things slightly more annoying, there’s this little circle (I assume a magnifying glass) that follows your finger around, regardless of the tool you’re using. This wouldn’t be a problem if I could choose to have it there or not in the settings. If there's a way to be able to turn on and off this little magnifying, fine detail circle, in the settings, I’d use this app again. Please see if this can be done, I loved this app and how perfect it was before the September 21 2022 update…

This app is awesome, and I love the features, I'd say the best drawing app I've ever had and I appreciate the help I got too. If anything's missing I think a drawing history list of unsaved and unfinished drawings would be very nice, but besides that awesome. Keep up the good work guys, rock on!😊🙂❤

I haven’t had a chance to use it much yet, but after playing around with the features, I can see that it’s like Microsoft Paint on steroids. I hate trying to use my laptop as a tablet so I was so happy to find this app, since I can now just use my iPad for drawing and editing images, which is much easier for me.

Layering, positioning takes a lot of practice, lots&lots & lots of note taking.

There is no return to Home Screen button, delete button, or cancel button that stops the current action/ task and returns you back to the Home Screen.

Even for advance artists. Contain great tools even in the free version!

Paid for pro version and yet still getting ads… other than that it’s a great app.

Great options with this ap! I use this creativity a lot. It’s a bit cumbersome and time consuming to use, but it’s worth it.

When we load photos to edit inside the app, can you add an option that allows us to load photos from the general “All photos library” as opposed to the “Recents” album on iOS?

This app is not okay, because everything I do, DOES NOT WORK TO LOAD PHOTOS, BECAUSE DELETING DOESNT WORK AND IT CAN NOT ALLOW ACCESS BECAUSE IT DOESNT SAY ANYTHING TO REQUEST ACCESS, I WANT YOU TO FIX THIS RIGHT NOW!

I hate this game so much

This App is amazing - so far. There are so many options that are free. Patterns, shapes, effects and so many adjustments you can make. I’ve only used it once, but so far I think it’s an absolutely excellent painting/drawing/designing app! Highly recommend.

YouDoodle has worked great for me for years. The only thing else I would love is a pencil tool since the pen and brush can be thick. Thanks!

This app is by far the best, most intuitive and streamlined UI of any graphic arts app on iOS. Period. Photoshop and many others can do great things. However the learning curve is harsh and the UI’s are convoluted, obtuse and full of so many things I’ll never use. Not to mention almost every other app of this type is ridiculously expensive! This app is free to extremely reasonable in its modest cost for full access. Take it from someone who has been rocking this app since 2016: you won’t find a more powerful, user friendly app. Not with super awesome and friendly developers like this has. Not for free or cheap either. Thanks guys!

I come across some of my old photos that I used to use this app for and it makes me angry to see they removed the basic neat features and added a bunch of junk not buy it don’t use it hate it!!!!!!

Love this app love the fill option most apps don’t have

I love this app! I have reliably used it to draw for years, and have very little issues with it. That being said, I have two problems- the lack of layers available (you're given only two to work with) and the inability to rotate the image as we draw. the second one can be helped by rotating your phone, but the layer issue has caused problems a number of times. Other than those two problems, I love this app! I love the tools and the formatting of the app, as well as how easy it is to get a hang of. The different options for customization on the app make things so much easier, and experimenting with all the tools helps figure out loads of shortcuts in work. I've had the app for roughly five-six years, and will continue to use it for my digital art, but I can't rate it five stars without the layer system being fixed because even though its the only main issue its a rather big one that's caused some issues.

Need more color choices for hair

At first I couldn’t figure out some things, but there’s tutorials for everything I could think of! I love the different drawing tools, and how easy I can make my creations. The texture colors are really cool and helpful. I don’t even think there’s too much ads! I didn’t need an ad to find this. It caught my eye and now I love it.

I remember getting You doodle and it was great. I still have it and yesterday I upgraded to You doodle+ and its great. On you doodle it would sometimes ask me to watch an add to get all the tools for 2 hours and that was great but, when I ran out of time I waited until it would ask me again. So I use You doodle+ more often now. Cause I can use all the tools without watching an add. Thanks for reading this and hopefully your going to download this too. It's great!👌😄

It’s often times hard to find various tools, labels are odd and there is a lack of instruction or help menu. I spent an hour trying to find the advertised “3D image rotation” and couldn’t find it, and when I looked it up all I got was a copypaste of the app description. Please help.

Can you add the feature to stroke any text, image, or shape? With multiple strokes Can you add more text curvature? Like “Flag etc”. Can you add the feature to make a name for your custom canvas sizes? Example 2048 x 2048 could be saved and reused again with the additional feature to add it to your collection and give it a custom name. Can you add more layers instead of 3 kind of like in photoshop. And maybe allow folders. Can you add the ability to take a object that was already placed and be able to move it or resize it again? It would be a layer. You could be able to give names to the layers too. Can you add a frames feature? This can be used to make animations? Can you add speed levels, color, stroke, shapes, and stickers to be allowed in the animations if animation features are implemented? I think you can do much more to make this the best doodle app ever. I really like it a lot! 5 Stars.

Love it. Simple enough you can learn to use it in minutes yet deep enough that even after years go by you feel like you’re still growing in using the program. I use it for teaching as well.

I tried out nearly every Photoshop style app available and found You Doodle to not only have the silliest name, but also the best functionality for iPhone, most intuitive features, and endless fun potential. Finally paid the $3.99 after using the free version for years. Did I do it to remove ads? Nope: mainly i just want to give Jeff a few bucks for creating this true gem of an app.
